When you place an order you enter into a contract, and these terms detail our responsibilities to you.
The term 'The Flying Bean Café', 'us' or 'we' refers to the owner of the website, whose registered office is Unit 5 Wycombe Industrial Mall, West End Street, High Wycombe, Bucks, HP11 2QY. The Flying Bean Café trades as a limited company, registered with Companies House number 09243336, and is registered for VAT under number 198 4317 68. The term 'you' refers to the user or viewer of our website.
General terms
The content of this website is for your general information and use. While we endeavour to keep it up to date and correct, we make no warranties of any kind about its completeness, accuracy, reliability, suitability or availability. Any reliance you place on it is at your own risk, and content is subject to change without notice. Images may depict props or be for illustration only. This website uses cookies to monitor browsing preferences. This website contains material owned by or licensed to us, its design, layout, appearance and graphics, and reproduction is only allowed with our written consent. Your use of this website, and any dispute arising from it, is subject to the laws of England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales. We take no responsibility for the website being temporarily unavailable due to technical issues beyond our control, and we are not responsible for the content of any linked third-party websites.
Making a purchase & the contract
To place an order, complete our simple checkout process. Upon placing your order we email your invoice to the address you entered, and at this point we accept your order and the contract is formed. We reserve the right to cancel an order if there is an issue with stock or payment details, or a pricing or product-description error. For account customers, your invoice is generated on placing your order. Our standard payment terms are 30 days from invoice date. For bank details, company registration, VAT number or accounts queries, email [email protected]. Prices displayed do not include VAT; the standard rate (currently 20%) is applied where necessary. All payment is in GBP. We reserve the right to amend prices or withdraw an item at any time.
Cancellation policy
At least 24 hours' notice by phone or in writing must be given for cancellations, or the full price will be charged.
Delivery
Our daily objective is to get your order to you on time, if not earlier. The streets of Buckinghamshire aren't always predictable and traffic delays do occur, so we can't guarantee precise delivery times, please request a delivery time at least half an hour before you wish to serve. We may deliver your buffet more than two hours before your chosen time; our drivers will offer to help set up or leave it as directed. We collect buffet trays the next working day, if they aren't collected, email [email protected]. We're proud to be green and deliver on high-quality reusable trays, so please do not throw any away or a lost-tray charge applies per missing item. Our delivery charge is £3.50 + VAT per booking, charged for orders under five people or for delivery outside our normal 11am-1pm schedule. We shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from delivery being delayed or prevented for reasons beyond our control.
